The Lord Jesus Christ wants his church to bear fruit, so that through these fruits the Father’s name may be glorified in heaven. I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that bears no fruit takes it away; and cleanse all that bear fruit, that she may bear more fruit. You are already clean by the word I have to you – (John 15:1-3)
In the above verses Jesus stands as the vine and shows us God as the farmer, as the one who administers, as the one who cares, with the one who deals , and that removes the imperfection so that we are able to produce excellent fruits.
Jesus teaches us that every branch that does not bear fruit is taken away, that is, it is cut off. The rod that Jesus is referring to is the one that does not have the capacity to bear fruit, it is the one that is lifeless. When man is no longer attached to the true vine that is Christ Jesus, he spiritually withers and dies like the lifeless branches of a plant.
God is saying through his word that in his work it is useless to have people who are not capable of bearing the fruit, because the Christian from the moment he accepts Jesus Christ as lord and savior of his life in him a change of character and the desire to be more and more like Jesus and bear fruit for the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus places two branches, the fruit-bearing and the unfruitful: The unfruitful branches are cut off and thrown into the fire to be burned, but the branches that bear fruit are pruned so that it bears more fruit.
When we are in the presence of God we are integrated into the vine truethat is Christ Jesus and we bear fruit, we are pruned so that we can continue producing. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these things! (Galatians 5:22,23)
All these fruits mentioned above take existence because we are connected to the true vine, when we are connected to the Lord Jesus Christ we produce the same fruits that he produced we live as he lived we speak as he spoke and walk according to his want and your will.
When Jesus had said that Peter would deny him three times, we can here clearly see that whoever is connected to the true vine which is Christ Jesus is entirely similar to Jesus. And after a little while those who were standing there came and said to Peter, Truly, thou art also theirs, for thy speech denounces thee. (Matthew 26:73)
When we are not part of the true vine, we produce the works of the flesh that are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, witchcraft, hostility, discord, jealousy, tantrums, selfish ambitions, dissensions, divisions, envy , drunkenness, riotous revelry, and other similar sins. And whoever practices these things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)
Jesus Christ teaches us that conditions exist for us to bear fruit. The conditions proposed by Jesus consist in first that we abide in Him and from then on He will remain in us. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself if it does not remain on the vine. You cannot bear fruit either if you do not remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If anyone remains in me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for without me you cannot do anything. If anyone does not remain in me, it will be like the branch that is thrown away and dry. Such branches are plucked, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask for what you want, and it will be given to you. (John 15:4-7)
When we do not abide in Christ Jesus, that is, if we are not linked in Jesus through faith, we will automatically be unable to bear any fruit. If we are not linked by faith in Jesus Christ, we will be like a branch taken from a tree. a branch that is cut and it remains for a few days, but because it is not receiving the nutrients, attached to the stem, it begins to dry up little by little, its leaves lose their green glow, wither, dry, and fall, leaving only a dry branch. .
When we have this connection with Cris When we too lose the shine and shine of the Holy Spirit, our souls become dry and automatically we die totally spiritually, making it impossible to bear any fruit. We understand that he Jesus Christ is the vine and we are just the Branches if we are connected to the Lord Jesus Christ, we bear fruit, but if we disconnect from Him we automatically become unproductive. Jesus rightly declares that without him absolutely nothing we can accomplish. When we are connected to the Lord Jesus and let his word remain in us, everything we ask of the Lord will be accomplished.
We become disciples of the master when we begin to bear fruit and when we bear fruit God in heaven is glorified.
My Father is glorified that you bear much fruit; and so will my disciples be.
“As the Father loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love.
If you will obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments, and in his loveabide.
II have told you these words to . that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete
my command is love one another as I have loved
this:..No one has greater love than he who lays down his life for his friends
you will be my friends, if you will do what I command you. I
no longer call you servants, because the servant does not know what his master does. Instead, I have called you friends, because everything I have heard from my Father I have made you known.
You did not choose me, but I chose you to go and bear fruit, fruit that abides, that the Father may grant you what you ask in my name.
This is my commandment: love one another.” (John 15:8-17)
Theof fruit is extremely important in the Christian’s life, because through him the father’s name is glorified throughout our lives. Just as Christ Jesus loved us, we must remain in the same love as Christ Jesus. Obedience, which we have the word of the Lord Jesus and his commandments, makes us remain fully connected to the true vine. It is extremely important that a Christian love his neighbor in the same way that Jesus Christ loved us. So we know the love that God has for us and we trust in that love. God is love. Everyone who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)
Jesus Christ does not place us as servants, for as servants we would not be able to know the purposes and projects of God the Father for each of us and for his church. Jesus puts us as friends because everything that the father revealed, He likewise revealed to us so that we become aware of all of the father’s projects. Something interesting is that we do not accept Jesus Christ, much less choose Him, but He was the one who accepted us, and in addition to this acceptance Jesus made us heir to the Celestial Kingdom. We understand that the Lord Himself chose each one of us and we were chosen not only to live in heaven, but to bear fruit, and when we bear fruit, whatever we ask in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be given to us.
Jesus is inviting us to bear fruit worthy of repentance. He is inviting us to bring more people into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus Christ teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Jesus Christ teaches us that when we raise our hands for Him to accept us, a burning desire to bear fruit must be generated in our hearts. Jesus Christ desires that, throughout our lives, the Father’s name may be glorified, and God rejoices exceedingly when we produce fruit and quality fruit. Each one of us is able to bear fruit for the kingdom, because we were freed by the power of the word, we were grafted into the true vine that is Christ Jesus and for this reason we are able to bear much fruit for the kingdom of heaven.
