A long time ago, in a distant land, there lived a young man named Joseph. He was special to his father, Israel, who gave him a colorful coat, showing everyone that he was loved in a special way. Joseph’s brothers became jealous and began to treat him not so well.

One day, José had an incredible dream that he wanted to share with his family. In the dream, he and his brothers were tying sheaves of wheat in the field, and the brothers’ sheaves bowed before his. His brothers didn’t understand and became even more angry.

To make matters worse, Joseph had another dream in which the sun, moon and eleven stars bowed before him. This time, even his father rebuked Joseph, but kept the meaning in his heart.

The situation worsened when Joseph’s brothers went to herd the flock, and Israel sent him to check on them. When José approached, his brothers devised a cruel plan. They threw him into a cistern and then decided to sell him as a slave to a group of traders passing by.

Joseph was taken to Egypt, where he faced many challenges. But God was with him, and Joseph became a wise and respected man. He helped Egypt prepare for a great famine that would devastate the land.

Lessons for Today: This story teaches us about love, respect and perseverance. Even when we face challenges, God can turn difficult situations into something good. We can learn from Joseph to be patient, to forgive even when we are treated unfairly, and to trust that God has a plan for our lives.

These days, we face many challenges, but Joseph’s message reminds us that we can overcome them with faith, love and compassion. We can be light even in the darkest situations, and God is always with us, guiding us.
